CURE Hits Close To Home

Last week, Vinyl MP3 had the honor and privilege of playing at NYCURE. The event, held at Riverpark in New York City, benefiting the non-profit organization CURE (Citizens United for Research in Epilepsy) could be considered a success in more ways than one.

The band, of course, sounded great and entertained the guests all night. Once the speeches started, our saxophone player’s ears perked up. He made the connection between this event, the CURE organization and his own personal life and his struggle with epilepsy.

The rest of the evening went off without a hitch and once he was able to put down his sax, Nick had the opportunity to speak with some people affiliated with CURE and made great connections and plans to become more involved with the organization and their fantastic cause.
